MEF wants take a moment to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our senior class, who are about to embark on the next chapter of their academic journey into college. This year's graduates have not only excelled in their studies but have also demonstrated resilience, leadership, and a passion for learning that extends beyond the classroom. As they prepare to step into the world of college, we are proud to highlight the scholars whose dedication and determination have paved the way for their success. These students represent the future, and their stories inspire us all.
Hope Whitfield
Hello, my name is Hope, and I will be attending Louisiana State University! I will be majoring in criminology with a pre-law track. Besides my academics, I enjoy dancing and cheering, which is a passion I will take to college in hopes of being on a pro dance team!
It’s such a bittersweet experience leaving MEF but I’m so glad to still be a part of the family and will always take the lessons I learned and apply them in the best way possible! Huge thank you to the amazing donors and team who believed in me!
Jaila Kirkwood
Hi, my name is Jaila, I am a Monster Scholar who just graduated Cum Laude from Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences. This upcoming fall, I am excited to be attending Eastern Illinois University to major in Criminology/Criminal Justice. I intend to become a Crime Scene Investigator in the near future. Aside from academics, I like to dance, play sports and hang out with my friends.
I would like to truly thank MEF for not only the financial support but also for the extra push to keep me going on my educational journey.
Shiloh Ajiginni
Hi, my name is Shiloh, I am a Monster Scholar who just graduated from The Latin School of Chicago. This upcoming fall, I am so excited to be attending The University of Wisconsin-Madison. Where I will be potentially majoring in Political Science and Economics and minoring in Political Economy, Philosophy, and Politics. Aside from academics, I love hanging out with friends, trying new things, and playing volleyball.
I just want to say how eternally grateful I am for the Monster Education Foundation, not just only for the financial support, but also for the emotional support and leadership skills they’ve helped ingrained in me. I’ll miss the monthly meeting and all the fun gatherings, but deep down I still know that MEF is always family.
